Friendship and Friends move on…a painful reality!

The Rembrandts SongFriends Theme Song
So no one told your life was gonna be this way
your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A.
It's like you're always stuck in second gear
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, but
I'll be there for you
(When the rain starts to pour)
I'll be there for you
(Like I've been there before)
I'll be there for you
('Cause you're there for me too)

How I wish the above lines were true to the core! Sometimes you feel, think or even believe that your friends would be there for you throughout your life, whenever you are in need of them by your side or you need to have a chit chat with them, you don’t find them anywhere anytime. As time flies, your friends meet new people and eventually, the amount of time you spend with each other reduces a lot. You do contact each other, but once in a blue moon, i.e. on birthdays (that too, when you get reminders from any social networking sites), before engagement, before marriage, that’s it. Blessings given, wishes told and vanish from your life!
Once you move on to the next steps in your life, your friends think that you would be busy and would not have time to talk or message or even think about them. But that is not true. Dear friends, your friend needs you. When your friend is in some trouble, any confusion or depression, you help your friend. Later on, when things are back to normal and life moves on without any hardships, your friend finds new friends to confront their problems and forgets what you have done for them. They cannot find time for you now.
Dear friend, what would you lose, if you give a call or send a message or meet up sometime? You lose nothing and you help your friend to become happy! Needn’t be any complaints, joys or sorrows or gossips, but just an itsy bitsy chit chat; even the presence of the friend by the side would do the trick and put a smile on your friend’s face. You may have a great family, but nobody can replace your friend and friendship.
A friend in need, is a friend indeed, buddy!
